Prominent British TV presenter Holly Willoughby appeared in court after a road accident in which a moped driver was injured. The star admitted she was not driving with sufficient care at the time.

The incident occurred on August 28 in the Barnes area of ​​southwest London. Willoughby was driving her Mini Cooper near her home in Richmond when her car collided with a moped.

Police were called to the scene after the accident. Police took the 43-year-old driver of the two-wheeler to hospital for examination and treatment. According to law enforcement, his injuries were not life-threatening and could not lead to long-term health problems.

The case was heard at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court. The 44-year-old TV presenter did not attend the hearing in person; she pleaded guilty by written notice.

The court found her guilty of driving without due care and attention. Willoughby was fined £1,653. She was also ordered to pay £130 in court costs and £661 in victim surcharges.

The TV presenter also received six penalty points on her driving license.
